Open Door is the name adopted by a small group of people, back in 1982, who perceived the need for a day centre which would provide facilities and activities for adults with physical disabilities in North Wicklow and South County Dublin. Open Door was founded as a charitable trust in 1984.
Over the past 40 years the activities have developed and now include physiotherapy, art, crafts, woodwork and ceramics. Members enjoy a new outlook on life and benefit from the many activities available.
We are proud to be able to assure those who support us that all funds raised go towards providing essential services for our members. Our accounts are available for inspection and are registered at Charities Regulatory Authority
